The Round Table Movie “extremely revealing” on many accounts 80 mins. From the BBC website www.bbc.co.uk/bbcfour/documentaries/features/nationaltrust5.shtm Officially designated a World Heritage Site, each year Stonehenge attracts thousands of pilgrim travellers for the summer solstice. National Trust and English Heritage who look after the actual stones and the landscape around the them and people from all diffirent cultures meet at a ’round a table’ planing for open access at poniont moments in time It has been suggested very loudly and by many important people that H M Government, English Heritage, Wiltshire Constabulary, The Highways Agency, The Department of Transport, Salisbury District Council, The Ministry of Culture, Media and Sport, Wiltshire County Council and their predecessors, Druids, Pagans, wiccans and other cultural and sub cultural groups have all been equally complicit in a mismanagement of care for the stones. The resonating Spirit of Stonehenge seems to have gotten lost between ‘departments’. The message and the essence of Peace that the stones and ‘the people’ of Stonehenge can bring, alike peacock feathers, can be in full display! Stonehenge however does not seem to be emanating its energy or being displayed at their best. http://www.universal-learning.co.uk represent Universal Peace at the stones on the Summer Solstice Open Access and will continue to do so. We here at Universal Learning and with a universal awareness, would like see Stonehenge officials accept Stonehenge is a gathering place of Peace and to become an official Beacon of Universal Peace! Thus showing the People that what ever politics surround the beautiful stones and its sacred landscape that PEACE will reign around the magical projection of the Stones that we can not and must not ignore. This is a full length 1976 documentary portraying the ancient astronaut theories of Swiss-born researcher Erich von Däniken, who wrote “Chariots of the Gods” (posted elsewhere on Google Video). The film is hosted and narrated by William Shatner. Everything from the Peruvian Crystal Skull to the megalith structures in the jungles of Southeast Asia is accepted as evidence for the Ancient Astronauts theory. Cave drawings, old legends, Biblical stories and even some psychic visions of Jeane Dixon are presented as stone cold facts. Eric von Däniken’s reputation was still quite unspoiled at the time so all the arguments (even the most far-fetched) are shown with great confidence.

No one is really sure who built Stonehenge or why it was built. Early theories were that it was constructed by the Druids or even the Romans, but those theories were disproved in the 20th century, when it was shown that construction began on Stonehenge over 2,000 years before Celts, and later Romans, had even arrived in the area. Most people believe that Neolithic peoples of the British Isles started building the Stonehenge monument around 5,000 years ago.
